Course Overview
The course empowers attendees with life-saving skills, knowledge and understanding of first aid, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and AED.
Employees who would be authorized First Aiders at the workplace. Volunteers who would help to save lives in communities (family, friends, relatives, neighbors)
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by NTI

On completion of the course attendees will be able to:
- Demonstrate placing unresponsive breathing casualty in recovery position.
- Demonstrate how to provide CPR & use AED on an adult, child & infant
- Describe choking care for adults, children and infants (responsive & unresponsive)
- Demonstrate how to remove gloves.
- Describe first aid for external bleeding and internal bleeding
- Describe steps for first aid for heart attack, shock, diabetes, head injury and seizures
