Course Overview
This course aims to provide delegates with the basic knowledge and skills that will enable them to safely and efficiently operate Overhead Gantry Cranes.
Personnel who are required to operate overhead gantry cranes.
Valid Overhead Gantry Crane Permit issued by RTITB
Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by RTITB

At the end of the training the candidate will be able to discuss and demonstrate:
- Safe and efficient operation of an overhead crane within the workplace, including their duties under HAWASA and the risks associated with overhead crane use.
- Pre-use inspection, appropriate maintenance tasks and reporting processes.
- Authorisation to operate arrangements
