Course Overview

The course aims to provide individuals with basic knowledge, understanding and skills relating to emergency response in PDO operations.

Personnel who may work as LEBC or part of LECC team.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by NTI

At the end of the training the candidate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the role of LEBC / LECC and describe roles of other emergency response team members.
  • Practice ER resource management
  • Discuss and practice Situation Assessment and Evaluation
  • Examine local area operations and the associated risks
  • Recognise and remove the barriers involved in communications and their failure modes
  • Recognise importance of stress management in emergencies
  • Debrief responses to emergencies/exercises
