Course Overview
This course aims to provide knowledge and understanding of confined space entry and safe working procedures.
OQ & Contractor staff who are required to use SCBA for gas testing or other operational activities, or in operational emergencies.

- Pre-use tests, Donning & start-up tests, ‘Doffing’ SCBA, after-use disassembling, cleaning/maintaining SCBA for further use, and test records.
- Rescue equipment, considerations, devising a rescue plan, and solo and team rescue techniques
At the end of the training the candidate will be able to:

- Assess a hazardous confined space environment
- Explain confined space atmospheric conditions
