Overseas Scaffolder Level 2 - English

Course Overview

Level 2 Training is a progression from Level 1 and builds on the knowledge, skills and experience that scaffolders have gained since Level 1. Level 2 involves erection, alteration and dismantling of more complex builds.

Anyone who wants to become a scaffolder and requires third-party certification.

  • Delegates must complete the CISRS Level 1 Overseas Scaffolder course and hold the certificate for at least 6 months or holds a CITB Part A or Part B certificate.
  • A good level of physical fitness is required.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by CISRS

  • International best practice
  • International performance standards
  • Local legal requirement
  • Components/materials recognition
  • Manual handling (SG6)
  • Fall prevention (SG4)
  • Foundations/integrity and stability (bracing & ties, etc.)
  • Access & egress

Practical units:

  • Static tower (2 Lifts including foot tie)
  • Mobile tower
  • Independent with return (2 Lifts including foot tie)
  • Nine standard birdcage scaffold (2 Lifts including foot tie)
  • Practical/Theory Test

Upon completion of the course, the delegates will have such knowledge and skills to enable them to erect, alter and dismantle basic scaffolding structures in traditional tube and fitting and common system scaffolds.
