Course Overview

The aim of the Light Vehicle Defensive Driving training is to equip the delegates with the necessary skills to be safer drivers, promote safe driving behaviour and eliminate the instances of motor vehicle crashes.

All Oil and Gas sector personnel required to drive light vehicles in the performance of their work.

  • Valid Light Vehicle ROP License
  • Minimum twenty-one years of age and maximum sixty years
  • Fitness to work certificate for candidates above 50, issued by an approved clinic
  • Three years of light vehicle driving experience
  • HSE Passport

Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by OPAL
