Course Overview

The course includes a two-hour induction session on the first day to welcome and orientate the candidate, familiarize them with the training centre, health and safety requirements and other important policies and procedures. This is then followed by the technical training for the remainder of the duration stated below and will consist of a combination of classroom and workshop sessions with various assessments throughout. Upon successful completion, the candidates will gain the knowledge and understanding that will go towards enhancing their existing skills to plan and carry out the basic maintenance tasks on joints & gaskets.

This training course is designed to upskill the engineering technicians working within their own trade discipline or as an appreciation of another, where knowledge and understanding may be required.

The entry requirements are a positive attitude to learning and clear motivation to study with evidence of an appropriate level of practical ability and skills.

Upon successful completion of the training course, candidates will be awarded a ‘Certificate of attendance’ from NTI and a Ministry of Manpower Accredited Certificate.
