AutoCAD (2D&3D Drafting)

Course Overview

This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to enable the candidates to understand and work with AutoCAD on 2D&3D drawings. It also provides a foundation on which the learner can build their own methods for using AutoCAD and become members of the largest community of CAD users.

This course is intended for students who wish to gain the foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Excel 2019 that is necessary to create and work with electronic spreadsheets.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by National Training Institute LLC (NTI), attested by the Ministry of Higher Education.

By the end of the module the candidate will be able to:

  • Utilize the power and precision of AutoCAD as a drafting and design tool used in the mechanical design and manufacturing industries.
  • Apply basic CAD concepts to develop and construct accurate 2D geometry through creation of basic geometric constructions
  • Follow a workflow-based approach that mirrors the development of projects in the real world, learning about the UCS, Solid, Surface and Mesh modelling and editing, and much more.
